Play-Way Kindergarten

To cater the needs and bringing up of tiny tot, the school has a well-equipped Kindergarten wing. rnHere, education is strictly imparted as well-trained teachers. Kindergarten wing is well-equipped rnwith audio-visual and multi-media aids, educational charts, models, blocks and pictures. The main rnmotto is to develop sound mental as well as physical growth of our students

Information Technology and Computer Education

With effect from the session 2001-2002 the Govt. of Himachal Pradesh decided to introduce information technology as one of rnthe subjects for study for 9th , 10th, 10+1 and 10+2 classes. This is the need of the hour. We have made Computer Education rncompulsory for all students from 1st to 12th classes. The school has separate well- equipped labs with multi-media for junior rnand senior students.

Continuous Comprehensive Evaluation

School has introduced C.C.E. (Continuous Comprehensive Evaluation) in Primary and Secondary wing from the last session i.e. 2009-10. rnThrough C.C.E. each and every aspect of personality to evaluated. It also helps to know the development of the child in academic as rnwell as in non-academic spheres. The final result of the student is not dependent on one single exam, but it is the result of the rncontinuous evaluation. In this regard an orientation program for 03 days was organized by the Dept. Of Education Govt. of H.P. in rnwhich our worthy teacher acquired proficiency and are implementing this program efficiently with overwhelming response from the rnstudents & parents both.

Sports

We are equally concerned with the physical growth of our children. We have highly skilled PET & DPE who continuously struggle to rnprepare students in games & sports. Our play fields are fully established and students participate in various competitions organized rnperiodically.

Classes And Academics

Pre-Primary

1.Learning is through play-way method.
2.Focus is on developing the communication skills of the child.
3.Stories and poems are dramatized by using expressive actions.

Primary(1st to 5th)

1.Focus is on development of language and mathematical skills.
2.Extensive use of latest trends in education technology is preferred.
3.Although computer teaching is compulsory in Primary Classes, yet it is through practicals only. No book is prescribed in these classes.

Middle(6th to 8th)

1.Steps are taken to strengthen comprehension, reading, writing, listening and speaking skills.
2.Personality development and value education is emphasized.
3.Well prepared study material is provided to the children.

Secondary & Senior secondary (class 9th to 12th)

Equal stress is laid on preparation for the Board Exam as well as competitive entrance examinations.
Special emphasis is given in laboratory practice.
Information technology (IT) is one of the compulsory subjects.
Drawing as a subject is not taught here in 9th & 10th std.

Subject combinations offered for 10+1 & 10+2 classes

1.At present, the school offers all streams . Physical education and I.P. are the optional subjects in 11th & 12th std.

Educational Tours

The school is arranging educational tours to those students who score 65% and more marks in M.T./Term Exams. rnto various places every year, preferably after completion of the entire syllabus to give meaningful exposure rnto the students with the consent of the parents and guardians.
